about

This album is about how I feel. I have been exploring a lot of philosophies and religions recently both out of curiosity and in a search for some truth I guess. In my studies a lot of the ideas that I came to find I liked in a lot of different schools of thought were influenced in some way or similar to some aspect of a religion I had heard about briefly in school. That religion is Zoroastrianism, or Mazdayasna. It is one of the oldest currently practiced religions in existence but its people have historically faced a lot of oppression in modern day Iran where it began. As a result it is not too well known and I find that to be a shame. I reached out to a community of Zoroastrians online and asked if there was anything I could do. They told me that the religion suffers from obscurity so try to spread the word about it if this has struck a chord with you at all. At the very least, skim the WIkipedia page about it if you are still reading this. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism

Ghosts of Dharma New York

Ghosts of Dharma started as the solo project of self taught, multi instrumental musician Lucas Levy. The moniker God of Delusions was used for his more experimental music that he didn't think fit his Ghosts of Dharma style, but has evolved into the name he uses for his all of his solo efforts now that he is starting to work with other artists under the Ghosts of Dharma name. ... more
